Eagles Abroad: Weekend Review

What a week for Blaine Scully! Although he trained with the team in pre-season he only received his work visa this last week, meaning he only had a few days to train with the team ahead of their weekend match. That short time was enough to impress the coaching staff into starting him. What did Scully do to reward their faith? Naturally he picked up a try as Leicester romped over Newcastle. It was a dream start for the former Eagles 7's player who is looking to stay on at Leicester longer than his four month contract. Other players also had strong weekend. Samu Manoa picked up another try while Chris Wyles and Saracens are at the top of the Premiership standings.
