The Eagles are coming off a Plate win in Tokyo and will be in a dog-fight with Scotland to get out of the last relegation playoff spot. The U.S. and Scotland are currently tied on 46 points. The U.S. face a winnable pool in Glasgow as they'll face Russia, Wales, and France on Day One. Scotland are in a pool with New Zealand, England, and Portugal.
In Tokyo the Eagles played with intelligence and strength as they pulled a notable upset win over Fiji. They will need that same type of commitment this week if they are going to duplicate that feat.
Squad: Andrew Durutalo, Nick Edwards, Carlin Isles, Jack Halalilo, Matt Hawkins, Colin Hawley, Luke Hume, Folau Niua, Blaine Scully, Shalom Suniula, Zach Test, Brett Thompson; Pila Taufa (alternate)
