Eagles 7's Announce Roster For Glasgow

Alex Magleby has returned a largely unchanged squad as his team prepares for next week's Glasgow 7's. The only change to the roster is Blaine Scully coming in for Mike Palefau. Scully had and injury that prevented him from playing in either Hong Kong or Tokyo. The only other change in the team the addition of Pila Taufa as an alternate. Taufa recently signed a contract and was added to the residency program.

The Eagles are coming off a Plate win in Tokyo and will be in a dog-fight with Scotland to get out of the last relegation playoff spot. The U.S. and Scotland are currently tied on 46 points. The U.S. face a winnable pool in Glasgow as they'll face Russia, Wales, and France on Day One. Scotland are in a pool with New Zealand, England, and Portugal.

In Tokyo the Eagles played with intelligence and strength as they pulled a notable upset win over Fiji. They will need that same type of commitment this week if they are going to duplicate that feat.
