Emerick Joins Tiger Rugby

Recently retired Eagles Paul Emerick has joined Tiger Rugby. The organization will be creating a full-time role for Emerick based out of Denver. Emerick is set to be a coach, technical advisor, and potentially more for the club.

In speaking with TIAR Tiger Rugby Director James Walker noted that "we at Tiger have always been extremely impressed by Paul’s refusal to  back down from even the biggest challenges and generally coming out on top. Now that his international career is over, we feel that he has even more to offer off the pitch than when he was on it. He will be a massive asset to our organization, and the players and coaches that we are helping to develop." He went on to add that he fits into Tiger Rugby's "rebellious culture perfectly."

Emerick retired after a decade with the Eagles and as a professional. He earned more than 53 caps, the most for a back, with the Eagles and is second in all-time tries. Emerick also has a distinguished 7's career playing in 17 tournaments for the United States.

Walker also informed us that today's announcement was just the first of many for the organization. You can follow Tiger Rugby on their Facebook page.
