Houston Strikers Sign Connor Murphy

The Houston Strikers continue to add young overseas players ahead of next year's Major League Rugby season. Once again the team has tapped the English rugby competitions with the signing of Connor Murphy from London Irish. The 21 year old made a handful of appearances for the Exiles in the RFU Championship last season as well as the British & Irish Cup. Murphy fits the mold of the young players with overseas experience that Houston wants. The idea is that they can get young players who want more experience, bring them over, and then the player would once again be put in the shop window. Murphy is English and a scrumhalf.
