Luke Hume is making a great case for himself at Gloucester after scoring for the team for the next week in a row. However, Gloucester lost the match to Sale 13-12. Both teams struggled through the first half with Gloucester taking a narrow 7-3 lead at halftime. Hume helped Gloucester add to their lead in the second half when he was the beneficiary of a great match from Jonny May. Unfortunately for Hume it wasn't a perfect match. He misplayed a kick late in the match that gave Sale good field position that they eventually turned into the winning score.
Elsewhere in 'A' League action Tom Bliss started once again for London Irish and played 61 minutes at scrumhalf. London Irish lost 58-14. Of the other players that are likely for 'A' League play this season John Quill is still recovering and didn't play for London Irish. Andrew Suniula is still waiting for his visa to make an appearance for Wasps. Blaine Scully's visa arrived last week but came too late to feature for Leicester today.
