Eagles Roster Announced For Ireland Match

Eagles head coach Mike Tolkin has announced his roster for Saturday's test against Ireland. While most of the squad is made up of veteran players, Seamus Kelly will earn his first start at the international level. He will pair with veteran Andrew Suniula in the centers. Overall, the team the Eagles will put out on Saturday is arguably their strongest squad in years. The back-row of Samu Manoa, Scott LaValla, and Todd Clever should pose problems for the Ireland back-row while the deep three of Luke Hume, Taku Ngwenya, and Chris Wyles should up to meeting their Irish counterparts.

Elsewhere, up front Chris Biller has passed a fitness test and will start. Mike Petri is also back healthy and will start at scrumhalf while Robbie Shaw finds a place on the bench. Petri will team up with Toby L'Estrange who will start once again at fly-half. In the locks the steady duo of Brian Doyle and Lou Stanfill return while props Shawn Pittman and Eric Fry will once again combine.

The subs bench is deep as well. Zach Fenoglio, Nick Wallace, and Phil Thiel will be the front row replacements while John Quill and Peter Dahl can fill in on the back row. The substitute backs available include Shaw, James Paterson, and Adam Siddall.
