Wolfpack Set For "Million Pound Game"

It all comes down to one game for the Toronto Wolfpack. All season the team has been chasing promotion from the Championship to the Super League. After a strong regular season and then mixed results in The Qualifiers the team will play the London Broncos in the "Million Pound Game" this Sunday at Lamport Stadium. Toronto did their best over the weekend beating Leeds 17-16. A win puts the Wolfpack in the Super League and a loss means they will have to play in the Championship again next year. Both Toronto and the Broncos were in the Championship this year.

Toronto finished the qualifiers in fourth place behind Salford, Leeds, and Hull KR. Like those three teams Toronto finished with five wins and two losses but finished in fourth thanks to point differential. All three of those teams were in the Super League last year. Widnes will be relegated while Halifax and Toulouse will stay in the Championship. Toronto beat the Broncos 34-22 in Toronto in round three earlier in The Qualifiers.
