Toronto Falter Again In Promotion Push

It was always going to be one of their hardest weekends of their attempt to gain promotion to the Super League and that's how it played out as the Toronto Wolfpack fell to Salford 28-16. Coming into the match Salford had yet to lose a game and they currently are still the only unbeaten team in the competition. Toronto was sitting in third place and automatic promotion but after losing to Salford they are now in fourth place which would put them in the "Million Pound Match."

Still, even though Toronto sit in fourth place it's all about point differential. Leeds, Toulouse, and Hull KR all have four points in the standings with two wins and two losses a piece. If Toronto move up they are going to need to have a higher point differential.

Up next for Toronto is a return home to Canada where they will face Toulouse. After that they stay in Toronto to face winless Widnes. If they can navigate the next two weeks with wins they should be in good position for their final match on the road to Leeds.
