Toronto Wolfpack Seeing Mixed Results In Qualifiers

The Toronto Wolfpack's drive to gain promotion to the Super League are on track despite mixed results through the first two rounds. The Wolfpack notched a 14-0 win over Halifax in their qualifier opener before falling to Hull KR in round two. Thanks to point differential the Wolfpack are in third place and would qualify for the Super League if the competition ended today. At the same time, because four of the eight teams have one loss and one win like the Wolfpack if point differential was different they could find themselves in the relegation zone. Two teams have gained maximum points while two teams have no points. Next up for the Wolfpack is the London Broncos at Lamport Stadium.

For those who aren't aware the Wolfpack, along with the other four top teams from the Championship, play the bottom four teams from the Super League in what is called "The Qualifiers." The top three teams will advance to the Super League while the teams in fourth and fifth place will square off in the "Million Pound Game." The loser is put into the Championship along with the bottom three sides.
