Blaine Scully Has Surgery, To Miss Season Start

Blaine Scully has had surgery on a pre-existing problem on his ankle according to the Cardiff Blues. The Eagles captain is expected to miss the first part of the season for the Blues. Obviously the offseason is when problems like this get taken care of. He played 15 times for Cardiff last year and is once again expected to play a big role on the team. Fellow American Samu Manoa recently joined the club.
