MLR Power Rankings: Final Regular Season Rankings

Not a tone of change in this week's rankings.

1. Glendale Raptors (Last Ranking: 1): Yes, they lost to San Diego to take away their perfect season. Still, they had a bunch of players away playing international rugby and something was always going to give. However, while we thought about dropping them down it would be crazy to think that Glendale aren't the number one team in the competition: Up next: Utah

2. San Diego Legion (LR: 3): Credit where credit is due. The Legion scored a big win in the last weekend of the regular season. From their first game when they didn't look good against Seattle they have turned it around. Their win even came without some of their internationals. They also managed to beat Glendale when Seattle didn't. Up next: Seattle

3. Seattle Seawolves (LR: 2): Seattle dominated San Diego early in the season but if they aren't careful the Legion could bite them in the playoffs. That said, Seattle are getting their internationals back and have clearly been one of the better teams this year. Up next: San Diego

4. Utah Warriors (LR: 4): We've said all year long that given more time Utah will be a strong squad. They proved that ahead of where we thought they would be. Now with Paul Lasike and David Tameilau back they are looking for an upset. Up next: Glendale

5. Austin Elite (LR: 5): Austin had an up and down season. They could have made the playoffs but Utah did enough to leap them. Up next: Season Finished

6. NOLA Gold (LR: 6): NOLA are another team with ups and downs. It started well but they couldn't maintain it. Up next: Season Finished

7. Houston SaberCats (LR: 7): All Houston can do is regroup and hope to be better next year. Up next: Season Finished
