Hawks Overseas: Week In Review


It was a relatively quiet week for American rugby league players overseas. Junior Vaivai was the only player to play in a top competition while others had the weekend off.

England

Super League

Junior Vaivai started for the Hull Kingston Rovers as they lost to the Castleford Tigers 42-14 on Friday. Hull KR play St. Helens on Friday

Bureta Faraimo and Hull FC had the weekend off. Hull FC play Salford Red Devils on Friday.

Corey MakelimMark Offerdahl, and the Sheffield Eagles had the weekend off. Sheffield plays Swinton on Sunday.

Eddy Pettybourne and Toulouse Olympique had the weekend off.  Toulouse play Batley Bulldogs on Saturday.

League One

Ryan Burroughs and the London Skolars had the weekend off. The Skolars play Hunslet on Saturday.

Australia

Ron Massey Cup

Daniel Howard was not in the line-up for the Wentworthville Magpies as they lost to the Warriors 36-6 on Saturday.

Stephen Howard was not in the line-up for the Mount Pritchard Mounties as they beat the Newcastle Knights 62-0 on Saturday.

Queensland Cup

Samuel Tochterman-Talbott was not in the line-up for the Tweeds Heads Seagulls as they lost to the Redcliffe Dolphins on Saturday.

Regional Leagues

Joe Eichner and the Junee Diesels beat the Southcity Bulls 10-4 on Saturday.

David Marando and the Belrose Eagles had the weekend off.

Matt Shipway and South Newcastle Lions play the Macquarie Scorpions on Saturday.

Super League

Monte Gaddis and Red Star Belgrade beat Rednicki 94-10 on Saturday.
