Scotland Name Group For Americas Tour

Scotland are leaving some veteran presence at home and giving a shot to some newcomers for their tour of Canada, the U.S., and Argentina.  Fans hoping to see John Barclay, Greig Laidlaw, Finn Russell, Jonny Gray, and Tommy Seymour are going to be disappointed as they are all rested. Huw Jones, Hamish Watson, and WP Nel are all out with injuries. Instead Scotland will be bringing a team with some younger players in order to fill out their playing pool for the World Cup next year.

The team is coming off a third place finish in the Six Nations. It was one of their strongest finishes in that tournament in years and has given the team momentum heading into the summer. They will play Canada in Edmonton on June 9th, the U.S. in Houston on June 16th, and then in Argentina the next weekend.
