Junior All-Americans To Face Canada in WRT Qualifying

The Junior All-Americans will play a two match series against Canada in Houston in June for a spot in the World Rugby Trophy competition. The U.S. missed out on the last tournament after falling to Canada but did win in 2016 on Ben Cima's dramatic kick. That was a one off affair and this one is a two match leg which the U.S. has not seen success against Canada. The specific dates of the matches will be June 12th and 16th which corresponds with the Eagles match against Scotland.

Leading the team as head coach will be Scott Bracken. Assistant coaches will be Scott Murray, Ray Egan, Brendan O'Meara, and Michael Engelbrecht. Director of Rugby JD Stephenson have picked 50 players via the selection camp held over the holiday season. A specific roster will be released closer to the start of the series. Training camp begins on May 11th.
