Bryce Campbell Signs With London Irish

The RFU Championship is full of Americans and the competition is going to get one more next season as Bryce Campbell has signed for London Irish next season. The club was relegated from the Premiership at the end of the season. Campbell is currently playing with the Glendale Raptors and will make the move after the season. His teammate Ben Landry is also moving to England and will join Ealing next year. Campbell has 15 caps for the Eagles and played collegiate rugby at Indiana.

With the additions of Campbell and Landry to the RFU Championship it brings the total number of Americans in the competition to six (seven if you count Nick Civetta at Doncaster). Dino Waldren recently signed an extension with London Scottish, Will Hooley plays with Bedford, and Ronnie McLean and Robbie Shaw play for Richmond and Hartpury respectively. Thretton Palamo was a part of the Bristol team that gained promotion to the Premiership.
