Seattle Women Win, Men Miss Out On Playoffs

The Seattle Saracens women did themselves a favor with a 33-30 win over Burnaby Lake on the weekend. It's been a rebuilding year for the Sarries and they have had mixed results to go along with that. As a result they currently find themselves at the bottom of the table but are just two points out of fourth place with a fixture against second place Capilano to come. Only the top four make the playoffs.

On the men's side it's similarly been a rebuilding year. The club has supplied a lot of players to the Seawolves and it is taking a toll. With the season wrapping up over the weekend Seattle finished in 8th place, nine points out of a playoff spot. Seattle lost to the UBCOB Ravens 19-5. The reserves lost 38-14. The Ravens finished in second place while UBC finished at the top. Other playoff teams include Burnaby Lake, Castaway Wanderers, UVic, and James Bay.
