Rugby United New York Win Again Over Boston

At home or on the road it doesn't matter to Rugby United New York as they have picked up their third win in a row and their second over Boston Mystic River. This time it was a 42-24 win in Boston. A key to the win for New York was a blast from the past as Mike Petri made a lot of good things happen for the club, including early. Boston had hit an early drop goal via Santiago Bertanou but then a dummy from Petri saw him freeze the defense enough to go in for the score. Connor Wallace-Sims would add a penalty for New York as they took an early 8-3 lead more than a quarter into the match.

Boston would keep it close in the first half with a try form Steven Dazzo. They showed definite improve over their result last week in New York. Still, Mike Petri was back at it with yet another try. New York would continue to keep it coming with tries from Seamus Kelly, Dylan Fawsitt, Mike St. Claire, and Alex Schwarz. Boston did have a couple of tries of their own, including one from Dazzo, but it wasn't enough. Left on the schedule for New York is the Ontario Arrows in Toronto.
