PRP: SFGG Clings To Hope, O-Club & Belmont Shore Win

San Francisco Golden Gate needed a win to keep any hope alive of making the top two in a few weeks and they were facing one of their most difficult opponents yet in OMBAC. For their part the San Diego side hasn't exactly had results go their way the last few weeks and this latest setback now has them level with Belmont Shore in the table. If SFGG would have lost they would have been eliminated from contention from the top two with a few weeks to go.

A few weeks ago Life West were making a shout to finish in the top two but after another loss their fate was sealed. This one came to Bay Area rival Olympic Club 38-29. Neither team will finish in the top two and with just one match remaining the bottom two will be Olympic Club and Santa Monica. Life West will play in the 3rd place game likely against SFGG. Golden Gate can climb out of it if they win their next two games and get some help.  In the other match of the round Belmont Shore beat Santa Monica 40-35.

If SFGG fall to Life West on the weekend then the top two places will be sealed with one regular season match to go.
