Eagles Trio Make Dream Team, Vancouver Draw

If you expected the Eagles to land multiple players on the Vegas 7s Dream Team after winning the title then you'll be satisfied. Ben Pinkelman, Perry Baker, and Danny Barrett all landed on the team. Surprisingly, Folau Niua, who is the focal point of so much of what the Eagles do, was left off the team once again. He may not be the fanciest player but as some point selectors need to realize just how important and central he is. A player a piece from Argentina, Wales, Fiji, and South Africa all made the Dream Team.

Now the Eagles head to Vancouver to try and pull off the North American double. The U.S. will once again face Australia (they beat them in pool play in Vegas), Canada, and Uruguay. Like always, the pool should be tough. Australia are good and Canada will be playing at home.

Pool A: USA, Australia, Canada, Uruguay
Pool B: Argentina, England, Wales, Samoa
Pool C: Fiji, Kenya, France, Spain
Pool D: South Africa, New Zealand, Scotland, Russia
