Who Will Start For The Eagles Against Canada?

As they say, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." That's exactly the attitude we expect from the Eagles this week in terms of changing up their starting line-up. After all, the U.S. beat Argentina XV last week, the first time they have done that in the ARC. That said, while we expect them to only change out players that are injured, like Marcel Brache.

Prop: Titi Lamositele, Dino Waldren, Angus MacLellan, Huluholo Moungaloa

There is no reason to change things up in the props after they did so well against Argentina. Was it perfect, no, but Lamositele and Waldren formed a good partnership that the Eagles hope will develop into something nice. The only thing that could change this is Lamositele or Waldren heading back to their clubs but when we were at the StubHub last weekend all indications were that they would at least be with the team through Sacramento.

Hooker: Joe Taufete'e, James Hilterbrand

Unless he's called back to Worcester Taufete'e should be the starting hooker on Saturday. He's been excellent this year with the Eagles. Would go envision a change with Peter Malcolm taking the back-up job from James Hilterbrand in training but we think it's still going to be Hilterbrand.

Lock: Nick Civetta, Nate Brakeley

Again, only barring Civetta being taken back to his club should alter this partnership. Matt Jensen won't even be with the team until the last two weeks. We think that Brendan Daly gets his chance the last couple of weeks as well.

Back-row: Tony Lamborn, Hanco Germishuys, Cam Dolan, Ben Landry, Andrew Durutalo

We own Hanco Germishuys an apology. We didn't even have him in the line-up last week. What a mistake that was. He was fantastic for the team and saved the game with his late dislodging of the ball. That definitely deserves another start. Tony Lamborn and Cam Dolan should start again. The only thing we see possibly changing is maybe Andrew Durutalo coming in for Dolan but over the last year Eagles coaches have liked having Durutalo off the bench to bring in power late.

Scrumhalf: Nate Augspurger, Shaun Davies

This is an area in which there could be change. Augspurger started last week and we thought he did well but over the last year he and Shaun Davies have alternated as starters. It wouldn't surprise us if Davies started.

Flyhalf: Will Magie, Will Hooley

We hate to sound like a broken record but there could also be change here. We thought that Will Magie did well at flyhalf last week. Argentina stunted a lot of things but Magie was doing good work. Hooley also came on and did well. If there is a time to give Hooley a start it seems like this week now that he's had two weeks in camp but we're going to go with Magie again.

Center: Dylan Audsley, Bryce Campbell

With Marcel Brache out someone else is going to have to start. Dylan Audsley came on and did well. We think he starts in Brache's place. Bryce Campbell should start once again.

Wing: Blaine Scully, Ryan Matyas, Paul Lasike

This should be Scully and Matyas once again without any questions. Those two are extremely important to the Eagles success.

Fullback: Mike Te'o

Te'o should start once again.
