National Teams/MLR:

The Eagles gave their ARC title defense hopes a big boost on Saturday with a tight win over Argentina XV.

Things were more mixed for the Eagles 7s. They beat Canada on day one but then lost to Samoa and drew with Kenya to miss out on the top eight.

Day two went much better for the team with three convincing wins.

Seattle is making the news up in Canada for their large number of Canadian players.

They are not in MLR yet but the owner of the New York team was on the radio in New Zealand

Central Washington fielded a team of younger players but they still had a big win over Washington.
