Marcel Brache Staying With Western Force

TIAR is currently holding a pledge drive. If you liked what you read consider a donation.

Ever since the Western Force were dropped from Super Rugby last year there has been an open question about whether Eagle Marcel Brache would be staying with the team. A number of his Force teammates have either signed in Europe, Japan, or with other Australian Super Rugby teams. Brache, who grew up in South Africa, also could have made his way back home. That question was put to rest as Brache has signed on to play with the team in the National Rugby Championship as well as the Indo Pacific Rugby Championship when that kicks off next year.

The move shouldn't come as too much of a surprise. He's put down roots in Perth where he has lived for nearly the past five years. He's made over 40 appearances in Super Rugby for the Western Force and has been a staple for the Perth Spirit in the NRC making nearly twenty appearances. He will be a key player for the Western Force as they play in the NRC after the Super Rugby season. This should also help his availability for the Eagles.
