TIAR Awards: Young Overseas Player of the Year--Siaosi Mahoni

All TIAR Awards are brought to you by Canterbury USA. #CommittedToTheGame

The votes are in and Siaosi Mahoni is the TIAR Award winner for Young Overseas Player of the Year. Mahoni was one of the revelations for the San Francisco Rush during PRO Rugby's only season. That led to a call-up for the Eagles and a contract with Narbonne in France. He's already made two appearances off the bench for the club which is a good sign. He's also seen action for their reserve teams. If he can continue to develop, especially with David Tameilau for guidance, that will be a good thing for the Eagles.

Mahoni claimed 56% of the vote while Clermont's Mose Fualaau won 44% of the vote. Both players have very bright futures.

TIAR is currently holding a pledge drive. If you liked what you read consider a donation.
