TIAR Awards: Overseas Player of the Year--AJ MacGinty

All TIAR Awards are brought to you by Canterbury USA. #CommittedToTheGame

AJ MacGinty has unfortunately been on the sideline for most of the past month with an injury but if it's any consolation he's won the TIAR Award for Overseas Player of the Year. He dominated the vote by garnering 53% of the vote in our poll. The closest to MacGinty was Chris Wyles with 27% of the vote. Joe Taufete'e had 14% and Marcel Brache had 6%.

2017 was awesome for MacGinty. He completed his first season for Sale in the Premiership and became an integral part of the Sharks as the go-to flyhalf. That won't be unusual for Eagles fans who have seen him do his thing. The Sharks and the Eagles will be glad that MacGinty's leg injury is not as severe as first thought.

TIAR is currently holding a pledge drive. If you liked what you read consider a donation.
