Eagles Abroad: Weekend Review

Eagles Abroad is brought to you by Grubber, makers of fine sporting apparel.

There weren't a lot of Americans that saw time over the weekend overseas but those that did certainly were in the thick of the action. It begins in the RFU Championship where Nick Civetta was shown a red card for a tackle just before halftime. As you can see from the video below the card stirred up quite a lot of debate. In the Premiership, AJ MacGinty scored all of Sale's points with a try, conversion, and three penalties. Other than that players mostly came off the bench as some competitions had the weekend off. Most notable is that Chris Baumann finally got off the bench for Leicester and that Andrew Durutalo played for the Worcester Cavaliers in the Aviva Premiership.
