Seattle Saracens Fall To UVic

The Seattle Saracens closed up their fall season with a 27-17 loss on the road to the University of Victoria. Injuries and exams took their toll on UVic so for them to come away with the result was even more impressive. UVic scored three tries in the first half. Seattle finally got on the board in the second half but it wasn't enough. At one point UVic led 27-5 before Seattle came back into it. UVic won the second division match 20-0. The Women had already wrapped up their fall season.

Heading into the break in seventh place. That's out of a playoff spot at the moment but with plenty of matches left in the spring there is an opportunity to move up. They are just six points out of fifth place. However, the dynamic of the team may change in the spring. Already the team has seen several players sign with the Seattle Seawolves. More are expected to join the MLR side. How everything shakes out in the end is still very much up in the air but with the MLR season not starting until later in the spring Seattle could have an even stronger roster.
