Eagles Abroad: Weekend Review

Eagles Abroad is brought to you by Grubber, makers of fine sporting apparel.

It was back to regular order over the weekend for Americas overseas. Once again in the Premiership you saw key players get consistent time. Chris Wyles kept his regular starting place for Saracens while AJ MacGinty started for Sale. He had a conversion and two penalties in that match. What made MacGinty's match a little more significant was that it came against Joe Taufete'e, Andrew Durutalo, and Worcester. Both Taufete'e and Durutalo came on in the second half of the match meaning that for a handful of minutes there were three Americans on the pitch. Also of note is that Titi Lamositele continues his road to recovery with another spell in the A League for the Saracens Storm. He had a try in the match! Over in the Pro14 Blaine Scully started for Cardiff. It was a little more bare in the RFU Championship with only Ronnie McLean playing. Down in France Samu Manoa started and played the whole match for Toulon but in the lower divisions only David Tameilau saw playing time.
