Eagles Abroad: Weekend Preview

Eagles Abroad is brought to you by Grubber, makers of fine sporting apparel.

It's a European weekend for many Americans in Europe. In the Champions Cup Samu Manoa will start for Toulon although it will come at lock. He's been a No. 8 for most of the season but will shift down to lock in order to make room for others. It's always a telling sign of the importance of a player when they are shifted into a different position because they need to be on the pitch. Also in the Champions Cup Chris Wyles will start for Saracens and Chris Baumann is on the bench for Leicester. In the Challenge Cup both Joe Taufete'e and Andrew Durutalo have earned starting nods for Worcester. It's the first time both players have started together for Worcester. Also of note, Taufete'e is one of the leading scorers in the competition. A couple of Americans will go head to head as Sale plays Cardiff. AJ MacGinty will start for Sale while Blaine Scully is on the bench for Cardiff. Elsewhere most players will see action at the lower levels.
