Civetta Sees 'A' League Action, Others Miss Out

Several Americans missed out on a chance to play for their first teams over the weekend but at least one did get a chance to play for their respective reserve side in the Premiership 'A' League. That player was Nick Civetta. He started for Newcastle as they lost to Worcester 35-29. Civetta has bounced back and forth from playing with Newcastle's reserve team, an occasional first team fixture, and Doncaster in the RFU Championship.

Another player that could have had a chance to play was Titi Lamositele but London Irish cancelled their fixture against Saracens due to injuries. Coming back from injury himself Lamositele could have used the playing time. A player in a similar circumstance is Chris Baumann, He's been on Leicester's team sheet the last few weeks but hasn't been called on to play. However, he wasn't included in Leicester's side for their 'A' League fixture last weekend.
