Ngwenya No Longer At Brive

Taku Ngwenya's time at Brive has come to an end. Originally signed as a medical joker the return of the player he was signed to cover means that his time has run out on his contract. In total Ngwenya spent a little more than a year with the team.  In that time he played 26 times for the club. 19 of those came in the Top 14 with seven matches coming in the European Challenge Cup. He made 21 starts and scored seven tries, all in the previous season.

What comes next for Ngwenya is up in the air. A return to the States could be on offer. The only time he hasn't played in France was when he played six games for San Diego in PRO Rugby. He turned professional after the 2007 World Cup spending nine years with Biarritz. Overall that is nearly 500 professional games in Europe. He could come back and play in Major League Rugby or he could try to stay in Europe. With a strong resume like his he could have offers in France as well as the UK.
