Hawks Finish World Cup Winless

The Hawks Rugby League World Cup campaign has come to an end with a 64-0 loss to Papua New Guinea. Unfortunately the team finished winless in their campaign with a set of three big losses. The team only scored two tries in three matches for 12 points while giving up 168 points. It was a big learning curve for the Hawks. Four years ago they ran out a mainly overseas-based team of players eligible to play for the United States. This year they've done more work to use domestic players in order to grow the game. Now the Hawks will return home and prepare for the future.
