Eagles Abroad: Weekend Review

Eagles Abroad is brought to you by Grubber, makers of fine sporting apparel.

While most Americans were with the Eagles in Georgia there were a few that saw action and among those it was a weekend of firsts. Titi Lamositele saw his first action this year after coming back from a neck injury suffered in Eagles camp last summer. It was a long road back for Lamositele but finally being able to see some meaningful time is important. If he can put together a strong winter and spring that will be good for the Eagles for next summer. Over in France, another young prospect, Siaosi Mahoni, made his first appearance for Narbonne in the Pro D2. David Tameilau has had most of the action so far for the club but with him and others gone it was an opportunity for Mahoni to see time. Elsewhere, Chris Baumann was an unused substitute for Leicester. It stayed away from Eagles camp to placate Leicester but then to have them not even play him is disappointing. Elsewhere, other players saw time at the lower leagues.
