Eagles Abroad: Weekend Review

Eagles Abroad is brought to you by Grubber, makers of fine sporting apparel.

As we mentioned on Friday it was always going to be a quiet weekend for Americans overseas. Many of the Americans in Europe were with the Eagles as they defeated Germany. That list includes Greg Peterson, Blaine Scully, AJ MacGinty, Joe Taufete'e, Andrew Durutalo, Dino Waldren, and more. That didn't leave many players playing for their clubs. One that did was Samu Manoa who started and played 80 minutes for Toulon. It was thought that he'd be available for the Eagles for both of their matches but he's only going to be available for their match against Georgia this weekend. Another player who had an opportunity to play after not being selected for the Eagles was Chris Baumann but he was an unused substitute for Leicester. Other players to play include Chris Wyles, Ronnie McLean, and Dave Ryan. .
