DI Mid-Atlantic: Rocky Gorge Win Again, Irish & Exiles Win Close Ones

Rocky Gorge have extended their lead in the Mid-Atlantic and kept their record perfect with another win over the weekend. The Maryland side played a local derby against the Potomac Exiles and came away with a healthy 43-19 win. That puts them four points ahead of the Norfolk Blues in the standings although the Blues have played one fewer match.

Also in the region, Schuylkill River did their best to keep pace as they beat the Baltimore-Chesapeake Brumbies 38-36. The match seesawed back and forth throughout with the Brumbies at one point taking a 36-19 second half lead. That's when the Exiles answered with three straight tries to win the match. Additionally, Washington Irish picked up another win, this one also close. They beat the Pittsburgh Harlequins 29-28. The win keeps them off the bottom of the table with the Brumbies occupying that spot.
