DI: Mid-Atlantic Closes Out Fall Season

The fall season in the Mid-Atlantic is in the books. The final match of the fall took place over the weekend with the Pittsburgh Harlequins beating the Baltimore-Chesapeake Brumbies 33-29. Now the competition takes a break until next March where teams will make the final push before the playoffs.

Heading into the break Rocky Gorge have a lead at the top of the standings.  They have a perfect 8-0 record and 38 points. The Harlequins are next thanks to their win but have played a league high 10 matches with only two in the spring. Sitting third in the standings and with the best shot at leapfrogging the Harlequins is Norfolk (the Quins only two matches in the spring are against Norfolk). The Schuylkill River Exiles sit fourth in a comfortable position. The rest of the standings go the Potomac Exiles, Washington Irish, and then Baltimore-Chesapeake.
