Seattle Pick Up Crucial Wins

The Seattle Saracens men and women moved back to the winning side of the ledger over the weekend. The men's team made the trip to Vancouver Island and came away with a 39-30 win over Westshore. It was a really important win for the club as they now move into the middle of the table. They have 13 points and are tied with Capilano for sixth place. They are six points behind James Bay and are just one point ahead of Westshore. They are two points ahead of Meraloma. UVic and Nanaimo are at the bottom of the table while UBCOB are at the top. The Seattle reserve team beat Westshore 29-22.

The women also picked up a much needed win. After a couple of losses to powerhouse Westshore they rebounded with a 58-12 win over Capilano. Saracens are no longer at the bottom of the table they leaped ahead of Burnaby Lake and are tied with Capilano. Westershore and Castaway Wanderers are the runway leaders at this point.
