Rough Stretch Continues For Seattle Saracens

It was another rough weekend for the Seattle Saracens. They are finding it a tough go in the BC Premier League this season as they go through a period of transition and teams in BC are strengthening. That's especially true for teams at the top like UBC, the Saracens opponent over the weekend. UBC are a young team but have some of the best talent in Canada and it showed as they won 36-14. Seattle now just have one win and five losses on the season but are seven points clear of last place Nanaimo. At the same time the team is just three points clear of sixth place.  The team has picked up several bonus points on the season. The reserve match between the two teams was closer with UBC winning 17-14.

The Saracens women also came up on the losing end. They faced a rematch against top side Westshore and lost 38-24. That's not a bad result considering they lost by a very big amount just the week before.

Next week the men will take on Westshore while the women will play Capilano.
