Barkwill Signs With Seawolves

The Seattle Seawolves have added another Canadian international. Long-time Canadian national team hooker Ray Barkwill has joined the team ahead of Major League Rugby's debut next year. He's played over 40 games for Canada and that doesn't include a number of appearances that haven't garnered a cap. At the club level he's play for the Ontario Blues and with various clubs in the BC Premier League. He also played ten games for the Sacramento Express in PRO Rugby's lone season. He also spent time with the Western Force.

Barkwill joins Phil Mack has capped Canadians on Seattle's roster. You can expect more Canadian players to join Seattle. In addition to their core from the Seattle area it's a short trip for most of the Canadians to Seattle to play for the team.
