Utah Premier Division Kicks Off New Season

The Utah Premier Division kicked off last weekend with a pair of matches. The competition has undergone a few changes since last year. Seven teams played last year (although it was really six because Liberty didn't play) while only four will play this year. Coming into the competition is traditional sevens powerhouse Humless. They join Park City Haggies, the Spartans, and the Brothers. Not returning are the Gladiators, West Valley Lions, and United. It was expected that there would be changes as the new competitions settles in.

Last weekend in a rematch of last year's final the Spartans once again edged the Brothers, 15-12. Humless started out their tournament with win. They beat Park City 34-14. Next week will see the teams swap. Humless will play the Brothers and the Spartans will play Haggis.
