Tiger Rugby Invited Back To Melrose Sevens

Tiger Rugby have garnered another invite to one of the top tournaments in the world in the Melrose Sevens. The tournament will take place on April 14th, 2018. The Melrose Sevens is the oldest 7s tournament in the world. It began in 1883 and has been running ever since except during times of war. Sevens originated in Scotland and the first Rugby World Cup Sevens took place in Melrose in 1993.

James Walker and Paul Holmes's side last played in the tournament in 2014. That squad was loaded with talent that would go on to do big things. Perry Baker played for Tiger in the tournament as did Don Pati, Thretton Palamo, and Zach Pangelinan. Carlin Isles also played in the tournament that year for Glasgow.
