Palamo Joins Dragons On Short-term Deal

In a bid to get more playing time Thretton Palamo has made the move to the Dragons. It's a short-term loan designed to cover some injuries the Dragons have sustained recently. According to Dragons head coach Bernard Jackman Palamo will be in the match-day squad for Ulster this weekend. Palamo has been with Bristol for the last two seasons and before that he was with Saracens. Playing time has been hard to come by for Palamo at Bristol. Injuries took their toll last year as they struggled in the Premiership. This year he hasn't played for the team in the RFU Championship but has been a regular fixture in the 'A' League.

In a press release from the club Jackman said: “He is a really good athlete, he is powerful and strong and has been surrounded by good environments since when he was with Saracens as well as during his time at the American 7s programme for the Olympics. I know him from when he was with Saracens and he’ll be a good addition to the squad, I look forward to seeing him play."
