Palamo Appears In 'A' League For Bristol

Once again there were a few Americans with chances of appearing in the 'A' League in England. However, only one eventually got on the pitch. Thretton Palamo made an appearance for Bristol as they lost to the Exeter Braves 28-19. It's a bit of a trade-off for Palamo with Bristol in the RFU Championship but also playing in the 'A' League. He's not getting first team minutes but gets a great level of play. Also playing in the competition was Paddy Ryan who was on trial for Bath.

Chris Baumann missed out on action for Leicester as they fell to Northampton 38-10. Among the other teams in the Premiership with Americans there was not way AJ MacGinty was going to turn out for Sale given he played the full match for the Sharks last weekend. The same goes for Chris Wyles at Saracens although both the Saracens and Newcastle didn't have 'A' League fixtures as they made the trip to America for this weekend's match.
