Metropolis, Chicago Leading In Midwest

Another slate of full matches in the Midwest and another win for Metropolis. The team is now 5-0 on the season with 24 points. The Chicago Lions improved to 4-1 and are just three points back. Behind them are Columbus and Kansas City who are on a roll.

Metropolis had a relatively easy time with the Cincinnati Wolfhounds. They ran out to a 28-0 lead just twenty minutes in. They would go on to win 54-10.  The Chicago Lions beat Palmer 34-13. That match was relatively close early with a couple of penalties from JP Eloff and a try from Harrison Deck putting the Lions up 13-3. It would be 13-6 at halftime before The Lions ran away with the match late.

The Kansas City Blues have won two in a row with a 74-5 win over the Chicago Griffins. The closest match was Columbus eding the Milwaukee Barbarians 38-35. That match was also a match of runs. Columbus led 17-0 pearly before Milwaukee was later able to take the lead at 28-24. From there Columbus outscored Milwaukee two tries to one.
