Eagles Abroad: Weekend Preview

The number of Americans set to take part in the Premiership this weekend is at three. Chris Wyles will get his first start of the year for Saracens. His teammate, Titi Lamositele, is still out after offseason surgery. Also starting is AJ MacGinty who gets the nod once again for Sale. Joe Taufete'e isn't starting but is on the bench for Worcester. The likes of Nick Civetta and Chris Baumann will miss out on first team time but should play in the 'A' League. Also in the UK, a few Americans will start once again in the RFU Championship, including Ronnie McLean and Andrew Durutalo. Thretton Palamo isn't starting for Bristol but will play in the 'A' League. Down in France, Samu Manoa and Taku Ngwenya will be involved for their sides.

British Isles:

Aviva Premiership

Chris Wyles will start while Titi Lamositele is injured and not in the line-up for Saracens as they play Bath Saturday. Lamositele is recovering from surgery.

Joe Taufete'e is on the bench for Worcester 35-8 as they play Wasps on Sunday.

AJ MacGinty will start for Sale as they play Newcastle today. Nick Civetta is not in the line-up for Newcastle.

Chris Baumann is not in the line-up for Leicester as they play Northampton on Saturday.

Guinness Pro14

Blaine Scully is not in the line-up for Cardiff as they play Leinster today.

Callum Black will start for Ulster as they play Benetton Treviso on Saturday.

Greg Peterson is not in the line-up for Glasgow as they play the Ospreys on Saturday.

RFU Championship

Ronnie McLean will start for Richmond as they play Ealing on Saturday. Andrew Durtalo will start for Ealing.

Thretton Palamo is not in the line-up for Bristol as they play the Cornish Pirates on Sunday. Palamo will play against Exeter in the 'A' League on Saturday.

Robbie Shaw is not in the line-up for Hartpury as they play Jersey on Saturday.

Andrew Durutalo started, played 80 minutes, and scored two tries for Ealing as they beat the Cornish Pirates 29-28 on Saturday.

Dino Waldren is not in the line-up for London Scottish as they play Bedford on Saturday.


Conor Kearns plays with Oxford University.

Ollie Drew plays with Romsney.

Louis Mulholland plays with with Cheshunt.

All Ireland League

Pierce Dargan and Old Belvedere are in pre-season.

Tim Maupin and St. Mary's College are in pre-season.

Eric Fry is not in the line-up for Vannes as they play Mont-de-Marsan today.

David Tameilau will start while Siaosi Mahoni is not in the line-up for Narbonne as they play Colomiers today.

Christian Ostberg is not in the line-up for Aurillac as they play Beziers today.

Mose Fualaau plays for the Clermont Academy.

Toni Pulu was not in the line-up for Counties Manukau as they lost to North Harbour 27-18 on Thursday.

Tony Lamborn started and played 40 minutes while Pasqualle Dunn wasnot in the line-up for Hawke's Bay as they lost to Wellington 40-27 on Wednesday. Neither player is in the line-up to play Otago on Sunday.


Michelle Wong is training and playing with Sydenham.

Steven Knight is training in the Southland system.



Marcel Brache will start for the Perth Spirit as they play the Canberra Vikings on Sunday.

James Hilterbrand is on the bench for the Sydney Rays as they play the Greater Sydney Rams on Sunday.

Chris Coyle is a part of the Brumbies training squad.
