Duo Sees Time In 'A' League, Peterson Plays With Marr

With only Joe Taufete'e the only player representing America in the Premiership last weekend it left the door open for a number of players to make an appearance in the 'A' League. One of those players was Nick Civetta. He came off the bench for Newcastle as they beat the Sale Jets 31-0. Canadians Jake Ilnicki and Evan Olmstead started for Newcastle.

Also seeing time in the 'A' League was Chris Baumann. He made his first appearance for Leicester in any official competition as he started against the Wasps. It was a pretty successful day out for him as the Tigers won 31-20. That was it for Americans in the competition. Paddy Ryan didn't have another chance to play for Bath United as their match against Harlequins was postponed. Neither Chris Wyles nor Titi Lamositele were in the Saracens first team or Storm line-ups. Lamositele is still recovering from injury and Saracens are Tim Duncaning Wyles.

Finally, Greg Peterson got another run out with Marr in the BT Premiership in Scotland. He's been missing out on selection with Glasgow so he's getting time with Marr. He started as the team drew with Watsonian 13-13.
