DI: Norfolk Move To 3-0 In Mid-Atlantic

Leaders Rocky Gorge had the weekend off so that meant it was an opportunity for other teams in the Mid-Atlantic to make a move. The Norfolk Blues were the team that took the most advantage as they improved their record to 3-0 with a 31-18 win over the Washington Irish. The Blues are on a role and in two weeks will have a big match-up against Rocky Gorge. Norfolk are 3-0 with 15 points. Rocky Gorge are 2-0 with 9 points.

Sitting between the two sides are the Pittsburgh Harlequins. The Quins ran out to a 17-0 lead before going on to win 47-17 over the Baltimore-Chesapeake Brumbies. The closest match of the round was the Potomac Exiles edging the Schuylkill River Exiles 29-27. The Exiles were in control early running out to a 29-3 lead. The Exiles came back to make it close but their late try wasn't enough.
