Eagles Abroad: Weekend Preview

Eagles Abroad is brought to you by Grubber, makers of fine sporting apparel.

The season kicks off in the Top 14 this weekend and there are going to be Americans involved. Samu Manoa will be a part of the Toulon team that looks for another Top 14 title run. He's proved once again his value and will be a big part of the team throughout the season. Also starting is Taku Ngwenya and Dave Ryan. Ngwenya will start for Brive and Ryan will start for Agen who were recently promoted. Down in the Pro D2 Eric Fry will start for Vannes which is a great sign. No other American will play in the competition. Over in the Mitre 10 Cup only Pasqualle Dunn saw time. Elsewhere teams are still in the middle of their pre-seasons.
