Eagles Abroad: Weekend Preview

Eagles Abroad is brought to you by Grubber, makers of fine sporting apparel.

It's pre-season time for Americans in Europe. Already Chris Wyles and Saracens have gotten things underway with a big match in Bermuda. They continue their things this week. The other Americans in Premiership, of which there are now six on five clubs, will be in pre-season play over the weekend. The same goes for those in the Pro14, RFU Championship, and the Top 14. Two leagues  start this weekend--the Mitre 10 Cup and the Pro D2. In the Mitre 10 Cup most of the action will center around Tony Lamborn and Hawke's Bay. In the Pro D2, David Tameilau will start for Narbonne while Siaosi Mahoni waits his turn. Eric Fry will start for Vannes. Over the next week weeks all the leagues in Europe will get underway with Americans at the center of the action.
