Cam Falcon Moving Up In New Zealand

Eagle Cam Falcon is going to get another chance to prove himself in New Zealand. Falcon has been down in New Zealand gaining time for awhile now after playing PRO Rugby last season. Now it's going to get the opportunity to get a run out with the Wellington XV as they take on Manawatu. With Mitre 10 Cup squads set to be announced next week this could be Falcon's chance to prove that he should get a spot on Wellington's squad. He's on the bench for the Wellington XV.

If Falcon makes it to the Mitre 10 he could join a small group of Americans with experience in the competition. Last year Chris Baumann parlayed his spot into a bigger role with the Eagles. Tony Lamborn has also used the competition to success. The best example of using the Mitre 10 Cup to launch a career is Eric Fry who went from Manawatu to the Premiership.
