USA Islanders Round Out Coaching Staff

The USA Islanders have taken another step in their preparation to take on the Saracens in Bermuda this August. The team has named former Eagle Vaha Esikia as head coach. Alatini Saulala has been named the backs coach and Paula as the forwards coach. Tui Osborne will be the skills coach. Preparation is also well underway to identifying players. The team's coaching staff have received recommendations from different coaches around the country and they are sorting through them.

The team will play Saracens on August 10th in Bermuda. For those that aren't aware the Islanders are designed to be similar to the Maori All Blacks in that they will be made up of players of island heritage whether that's Pacific Islands or islands like Puerto Rico, and will compliment the Eagles. After the Saracens match the team is planning on holding identification camps in areas like Hawaii, Utah, and Texas in order to discover more players.

  1. Awesome idea! Using players from Puerto Rico and America Samoa would only help those countries Excel there rugby programs

  2. Where can we fallow this team?
